Beth is a physical therapist, and today, she is celebrating her 13th year working with Georgia Bone & Joint Physical Therapy.
She chose a career in physical therapy because of her life experience:
“I had knee surgery in high school and my mom had surgery the next year. We spent a lot of time in physical therapy. It made me want to help others the way I was helped.”
Her favorite part of the job is, “meeting new people and trying to help them get back to their normal activities after injury or surgery.” She encourages her patients to take an active role in their physical therapy rehabilitation and to be patient with the process. Her 13 plus years of experience has taught her that, “no two recoveries are the same,” and she focusses on working with the individual patient to help them achieve the best possible results.
When she isn’t working, Beth enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and any activity with her family. This year, she hopes to do some traveling and spend as much time as possible with her husband and daughters. She is also an avid Alabama fan, and loves cheering, “Roll Tide” for her alma mater!
Fun fact alert: Beth loves to travel. Her two most favorite trips have been visits to Italy and the Grand Canyon!
Happy work 13th work anniversary, Beth! Thank you for everything you do!
