Today, Miranda Dudley is celebrating her 1st work anniversary with us. She works as a registered nurse in our outpatient surgery center.
What she enjoys most about being a nurse is, “having the chance to influence people’s lives in a positive way. Whether it’s by educating patients in order to make life easier for them or lending a caring hand, I truly enjoy being able to have a positive impact on the people around me by making their experience with healthcare enjoyable.”
Miranda new she wanted to work in the medical field from an early age. She explains, “I know this is cliche, but I have truly had a passion for helping others. I knew I wanted a job that brought fulfillment into my life and others. I took a first responder class in high school and knew nursing was my niche.”
When she isn’t busy working with our orthopedic surgeons and taking care of patients, Miranda enjoys spending time with family and friends. With the virus, “it’s been difficult given circumstances lately, so when I do get to see them, it’s that much better!”
Fun Fact Alert: “I absolutely love traveling! My favorite destination so far has been Alaska.” She has Greenland and Ireland on her list of places to visit next.
Happy work anniversary, Miranda! Thank you for the quality care and empathy you give to each patient. We appreciate all that you do.
