Jessica Caverly, a registered nurse in our Center For Orthopedic Surgery, getting ready for her work day.
Today, Jessica is celebrating 6 years as a registered nurse in our outpatient surgery center!
She decided to work in the medical field because of her passion for helping others. Jessica specifically chose nursing as a career to be, "able to help my patients meet their healthcare needs while also providing comfort to those who may be feeling nervous before a procedure." What keeps her going is her passion to, "be someone who encourages and uplifts others in their time of need."
As a nurse in our outpatient orthopedic center, Jessica helps patients prepare for and recover from their procedure. For her, "communication plays a big part in helping patients feel comfortable. I always strive to go by the golden rule, 'Do to others as you would have them do to you.' (Matthew 7:12)"
When she isn't at work, she's spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, shopping, and cooking. Her favorite sports teams are the Braves, and definitely, the purple Hurricanes!
Happy work anniversary, Jessica! We are so thankful that you are apart of our team!
